June 2016 Webinar: Values & Spirituality in University Classrooms: What's Going on Here?

This webinar covers summarized survey data collected from almost 50 academics who explore values, spirituality, meaning and purpose in the classroom. A panel of three senior academics offered interpretations on what the data may signify. Topics discussed include motivations for creating/teaching such courses, common themes and best practices.

Bridging the Secular-Spirit Divide at Work: How Can It Be Done?

The Tyson Center hosted more than 70 chaplains from Tyson Foods Inc. on Oct. 7, 2014. A panel of prestigious speakers highlighted the event. The panel spoke on Bridging the Secular-Spiritual Divide at Work: How Can it be Done?

Speakers were David Miller, Ph.D., from the Center for the Study of Religion at Princeton; Raymond Perrier, Tyson Visiting Scholar and Director of the Jesuit Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa; Mary Oleksiuk, Tyson Foods, Inc.; Ben Kirksey of Work Matters Institute; and Daniel Harris, Managing Director of the Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace.
